Conscious Living Community 2010
4 weeks starting on the 2nd of May and finishing on the 28th of May.
The total fee is 1150 Euros.
This 1month-retreat provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your yoga practice while living and operating in a close community surrounded by beautiful and peaceful nature. This set-up encourages reflection on the Self as well as staying conscious in everyday life.
Pls also note that it is possible and very recommendable to prolong your stay with the workshop, Anatomy of Wholeness with David Gorman and my self (see Agenda and Fees). This workshop starts right after on the 27th of May. This would give a total stay at the retreat of 5 weeks. Students who have done the Conscious Living Community will be given a 5% discount from the fee of the Anatomy of Wholeness workshop.

Yoga practice and teaching
There will be about 4 hours of yoga practice every day including: asanas, pranayama and silent sitting. And there will be approximate 10 hours of teaching / week from Monday to Friday. During the first week there will be more teaching as we are starting. During the remaining 3 weeks the weekly 10 hours of teaching will be used for asanas, guidance of pranayama, answering questions of the students and for lectures on different subjects related to yoga and conscious living. The timing of the teaching and practices will be early morning and late afternoon or evening. Leaving time for reflection, study or working during the day.

Extra individual mentor/coaching sessions by Stefan are offered for an additional fee for those who are interested. These sessions will give you more clarity on where you are in life, on where you want go and "who you could be" by putting you in contact with your inner wisdom and freeing you from roles and survival strategies.

Lodging & Food
The students will get individual rooms. Cooking and cleaning will be done within the community by taking turns.
A common quiet room will be provided for studying or working. The room will have a Wi-Fi connection.


Who is this retreat meant for?

a) Anyone who want to go deepen their practice or are considering starting teaching.
b) Yoga teachers who want to deepen their knowledge.
c) University students who are doing research and/or writing their PhD'S.
d) Researchers who want a peaceful environment in which to undertake their work.
e) Persons who can work virtually from anywhere in the world like, for example web designers and translators etc.
if) Anyone who like to live in a community free from dogma, together with like minded people in beautiful nature, were the daily routines supports a healthy and conscious life.

Enrolment
We will take on a limited number of people, about 10 students for this event. Acceptance will be based on a personal interview. The interview can be done over the phone or during a personal meeting with the applying student. All levels are welcome, also beginners in yoga.

Payment
1st Payment: Once your booking has been confirmed, it will be secured by paying a deposit within a week’s time. You will be informed of the deposit and bank account details when we confirm your enrolment.
Please note that only when the payment of the deposit is done you have secured your reservation.
2nd Payment: The rest of the amount is to be paid in cash at arrival.

What to bring
Bring sheets or a sleeping bag. In case you would forget or prefer to travel light you can hire sheets for
20 Euro/set. If you don't have a yoga mat you can use one of the yoga mats provided.
It is a good idea to bring two towels, soap for washing your clothes and a water bottle as it is recommended to drink a lot of water during your stay. Also bring warm clothes and a flash light.

Travel instructions
Arrival on Sunday the 2nd of May at 6 p.m. at Hanko railway station and departure is on Friday the 27th of May after brunch at 3 p.m. If you are traveling from abroad we recommend you to choose a flight that arrives at Helsinki on Sunday morning. There is a train connection from Helsinki to Hanko at 4 p.m. The airport bus connection takes about 1/2 hour to the main railway station of Helsinki. The train journey to Hanko takes approximate. 2 hours and the fee is 25 Euro. We will then meet you at Hanko Railway Station at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Terms and conditions
Make sure you have valid travel insurance as insurance is not included in the price.
If you miss the arranged pick-up or departure be prepared to pay 50 euro extra for a boat taxi . Only standard transfers on arriving and departure days are included in price.

Cancellation fees will be incurred as follows
1st Payment:100 % loss of deposit if student decide not to come.
2nd Payment:100 % loss of payment if student decides to not complete the workshop.
